Top 11 Amazon Advertising Agencies in the USA to Scale Your Brand
By Vignesh M ยท GrowithAmazon
For most US brands, advertising is now the biggest line in the Amazon P&L, and it has been growing faster than sales. Amazon's advertising services revenue reached $19.8 billion in the second quarter of 2026, up 26% on the year before. Somebody is managing all of that money. Some of them are doing it well.
If you are comparing amazon advertising agencies right now, you have probably noticed that every "top agencies" list is written by an agency that puts itself first, and none of them say how they checked anything. We should be honest: GrowithAmazon wrote this page, and GrowithAmazon is number one on it. The difference is that every other entry is held to the same criteria, nobody paid to be here, and each listing ends with the signals we could actually verify.
How we built the list: agencies headquartered or primarily operating in the United States, with advertising as a core service, and with facts we could see on their own site or in a third-party source during October 2026. Figures that come only from the agency are marked "self-reported". Software platforms, generalist digital agencies and companies visible mainly through their own self-ranked lists were left out.
In this guide you will find:
- The four advertising situations brands actually hire for, so you can name yours before you talk to anyone
- Eleven US agencies, each with "Pick this one if" and "Verified signals"
- A side-by-side comparison table with no made-up ratings
- How agencies charge, explained by incentive rather than by number
- Red flags, twelve questions to ask, and a two-week trial method, plus a look at each agency's homepage
TL;DR
- Decide which of four jobs you are hiring for before you read a single agency page: fix a bleeding account, scale a profitable one, go full-funnel, or run Amazon inside a wider retail media plan.
- Partner badges are entry tickets, not proof. Ask for a change log and a reference call.
- Our 11: GrowithAmazon, Tinuiti, Canopy Management, Incrementum Digital, Envision Horizons, Blue Wheel, Acadia, Channel Key, Trivium Group, Nuanced Media, My Amazon Guy.
- The fee model shapes behaviour more than the fee level. Choose the incentive you want to live with.
- You must own the ad account and the data, in writing, before anyone touches a bid.
- Run a two-week paid trial around an audit and three agreed changes. Then decide.
Why does US Amazon advertising need a specialist in 2026?
Three things changed the job this year.
The US is the deep end. It is the most competitive Amazon store and the most mature retail media market in the world. eMarketer puts US retail media spend at roughly $71 billion in 2026, and Amazon takes the large majority of it. Every category you sell in has a brand with a bigger budget and a team that does nothing but this.
The platform moved under your feet. In 2026 alone, Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands prompts became billable in March, Alexa for Shopping replaced the old Rufus assistant and started serving sponsored placements, Branded Conversations was announced at unBoxed in September, product titles were capped at 75 characters in July, Sponsored Brands product collections became AI-curated in January, influencer placements were added to Sponsored Products, and multi-touch attribution began rolling out. Several of these were switched on in accounts automatically. An agency that did not adjust client settings for each one was not managing those accounts.
The stack got wider. Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, Sponsored TV, Amazon DSP and Amazon Marketing Cloud are six different disciplines. Most in-house teams run two of them well. The agencies on this list exist because the other four still matter.
Which Amazon advertising job are you hiring for?
Agency websites all say "full-funnel growth". Your problem is more specific than that. Find yourself below.
Job 1: Fix a bleeding account
ACoS is above break-even, spend went up and profit did not, nobody can explain the structure. You need an audit, negatives, bid discipline and a rebuild, fast.
Job 2: Scale a profitable account
Ads work, but every extra dollar returns less. You need TACoS discipline, incremental-spend testing, event bidding and a plan for new keywords and formats.
Job 3: Go full-funnel
Sponsored Products is maxed. You need Sponsored Brands video, Display, DSP, Amazon Marketing Cloud audiences, maybe Sponsored TV, and new-to-brand measurement to prove it.
Job 4: Run Amazon inside a wider retail media plan
Amazon is one channel next to Walmart Connect, TikTok Shop, Instacart and paid social. You need one team that plans budgets across all of them without letting Amazon become an afterthought.
If you are in Job 1 and want to understand what a healthy account looks like before you hire, our Amazon PPC guide walks through structure, bidding and the weekly routine an agency should be running for you.
What makes a great Amazon advertising agency in 2026?
Eight things separate the agencies that scale brands from the ones that scale spend.
- Margin-first targets. They ask for your cost of goods and fees before they talk about an ACoS goal. If the first number they mention is a benchmark, be careful.
- Structure you can read. Portfolios, a naming convention, one product per ad group, automatic campaigns split by match group. You should be able to open the console and understand it without them.
- 2026 feature literacy. They can explain prompts, Alexa for Shopping placements, Branded Conversations, the 75-character title rule, AI-curated Sponsored Brands collections, Sponsored Brands Reserve, influencer placements and multi-touch attribution, and show where they changed settings for clients.
- Full-funnel when earned. Sponsored Brands video, Display, DSP and AMC added in order, when the Sponsored Products base is profitable. Not DSP on day one because it carries a bigger fee.
- Measurement beyond last click. TACoS, new-to-brand, incremental ACoS and multi-touch attribution where the account has it. Our ACoS vs TACoS guide explains why the second number is the one that proves ads are building anything.
- Ownership and a written fee model. You own the ad account and the data. The fee model, notice period and exit terms are in the contract.
- Named humans. Who works your account day to day, how long they have been there, how many accounts they carry.
- Proof you can check. A listing in the Amazon Ads partner directory, named clients, awards with dates, case studies with baselines and timeframes.
What do Amazon Ads partner badges really mean?
You will see three phrases on agency sites, and they are not the same thing.
- Amazon Ads Verified Partner and Amazon Ads Advanced Partner are tiers in the Amazon Ads Partner Network. They reflect an agency's activity on Amazon Ads, team certifications and engagement with Amazon, and they are listed in Amazon's public partner directory.
- Amazon Ads Certified refers to people who have passed certifications in Amazon's learning console. A team of certified specialists is a good sign; it is not an agency tier.
Treat all three as proof of access and training, not proof of results. Check the directory yourself rather than trusting a badge image, and then ask for the change log.
"With Branded Conversations, we are giving brands the ability to bring their product expertise and storytelling into those conversations, at the moment of decision."Muthu Muthukrishnan, VP of Sponsored Ads, Amazon Ads, announcing Branded Conversations, 29 September 2026

Red flags before hiring an Amazon advertising agency
Seven patterns that show up in the proposals that go wrong, with what to ask instead.
- Guaranteed ACoS or "page one in four weeks". Nobody controls the auction or the algorithm. Ask instead for the method and a redacted change log from a similar account.
- Ads run from the agency's own account. You lose history and data the day you leave. Ask for admin access on your account from day one.
- Reports that show ACoS and nothing else. Ask for TACoS, organic sales and a list of what changed and why.
- No answer on 2026 features. Ask what they did about billable prompts and the title limit, and when.
- Self-ranked "top agency" lists used as proof. Ask for two client references you can call.
- Case studies with percentages but no baseline or timeframe. Ask for the starting number and the period.
- A fee model that rewards spend with no efficiency clause. Ask how the agency earns more when your profit grows, not just when your budget does.
Top 11 Amazon advertising agencies in the USA (2026)
Here are the top amazon advertising agencies in the USA for 2026, in order. Each entry covers what the agency does, who it suits, a plain "Pick this one if" sentence and the signals we could verify. Where a number comes only from the agency, we say so. There are no ratings, because we do not have a fair way to produce them.

Several are good businesses. They are a different purchase.

How do Amazon advertising agencies charge?
We are deliberately not publishing fee numbers here. They change, they vary by scope, and a number without the model behind it tells you nothing. What you should understand is how each model shapes the agency's behaviour.
| Model | How it works | The incentive it creates | What to ask for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Percentage of ad spend | The fee rises and falls with your monthly advertising budget | The agency earns more when you spend more, whether or not it is profitable | An efficiency clause tied to TACoS or profit, and a cap |
| Flat monthly retainer | A fixed fee for an agreed scope | Predictable for you; effort may not grow as your catalogue and spend do | A written scope with review points as the account grows |
| Hybrid or performance | A base fee plus a component linked to results | Aligned on growth, but only as good as the definition of "results" | Exactly how attributed revenue or profit is measured and audited |
What must be in writing, whatever the model
- You own the advertising account and all data; the agency works inside it
- Full export of campaigns, reports and creative on exit
- Notice period and what happens to campaigns during it
- Names and roles of the people working the account
- Reporting cadence and what a report must contain (spend, ad sales, ACoS, TACoS, changes made)
- Which services are inside scope (DSP, creative, listings) and which are extra
How to choose and test an Amazon advertising agency
A five-step shortlist
- Name the job from the four above and write it in one sentence.
- Check badges yourself in the Amazon Ads partner directory, not on the agency's site.
- Ask for a redacted change log from a similar account: thirty days of what was changed and why.
- Make a reference call and ask the client what the agency got wrong and how it was handled.
- Run a two-week paid trial before you sign anything longer than a month.
The two-week trial, step by step
- Day 1: grant read-only access to your advertising account and share your fee preview and cost of goods for the top ten ASINs.
- Days 2โ5: the agency delivers an audit that must include break-even ACoS per ASIN, wasted spend by campaign, maximum cost-per-click exposure after placement and bidding settings, and a review of every 2026 feature enrolled in your account.
- Day 6: agree three changes together. Not thirty. Three you can measure.
- Days 7โ14: the agency makes the changes with admin access and keeps a change log you can read.
- Day 30: measure the three changes on a 30-day window against the previous 30 days. Decide on evidence, not on the pitch.
12 questions to ask an Amazon advertising agency
- What is my break-even ACoS, and how did you calculate it? Good answer: they ask for COGS and fees before answering.
- Show me the campaign structure you would build for one of my products. Good answer: portfolios, naming, split automatics, exact-match scale campaigns.
- What did you change in client accounts after prompts became billable in March 2026? Good answer: a specific report and setting, with a date.
- How did you handle the 75-character title rule for advertised ASINs? Good answer: manual rewrites before Amazon's AI did it.
- When would you add DSP, and when would you refuse to? Good answer: after the Sponsored Products base is profitable and retargeting pools exist.
- Which metrics are in your weekly report? Good answer: spend, ad sales, ACoS, TACoS, organic sales and a change log.
- Who will work on my account, and how many accounts do they carry? Good answer: names, tenure and a number.
- Do I own the advertising account and the data? Good answer: yes, in the contract.
- How does your fee model reward efficiency, not just spend? Good answer: a mechanism, in writing.
- Which of my categories have you advertised in before, and what was different about them? Good answer: specifics about restrictions, seasonality or review dynamics.
- Can you run Walmart Connect or TikTok Shop with Amazon if we need it? Good answer: yes with named partners, or an honest no.
- What happens in the first 30 days, and what happens if we part ways after 90? Good answer: an audit-led plan and a clean export.
Amazon advertising stats US brands should know
- Amazon reported $17.2 billion of advertising services revenue in Q1 2026 and $19.8 billion in Q2 2026, up 26% year over year in the second quarter.
- eMarketer forecasts US retail media ad spend of about $71 billion in 2026, with Amazon holding the large majority of it; the exact share depends on how retail media is defined, so we quote one source and leave it at that.
- In SellerStack's August 2026 benchmark, the median account converted 9.5% of clicks at a 0.62% click-through rate; the top quarter of accounts ran ACoS under 23.5%. That gap is the space an agency is paid to close.
- Amazon Ads says nearly 20% of shoppers who interact with a Sponsored Brands prompt continue the conversation about that brand, which is why conversational formats are now part of an agency's job.
Benchmarks come from one provider's client base and are context, not targets. Your margin sets your targets.
How does GrowithAmazon run advertising for US brands?
Since this is our list, here is exactly how we work, so you can hold us to the same criteria as everyone above.
1. Audit against your margin
Break-even and target ACoS per ASIN, wasted spend by campaign, real maximum cost per click after placement settings, and a review of every feature Amazon enrolled you in during 2026.
2. Rebuild the structure
Portfolios, naming, one product per ad group, split automatic campaigns, exact-match scale campaigns, defence and conquest targeting. Launch products get a launch structure; mature products get a profit structure.
3. Run a weekly cadence
Harvest, negatives, bid rules, placement and budget reviews on a fixed day, with a change log and a report that shows spend, ad sales, ACoS, TACoS and organic sales.
When the Sponsored Products base is profitable we add the funnel in order: Sponsored Brands video, Sponsored Display retargeting, then Amazon DSP and Amazon Marketing Cloud when the spend justifies them. As an amazon agency with offices in New York, the UAE and the UK and coverage for Texas and Los Angeles, we respond during US business hours and run the same structure across eight marketplaces when a US brand is ready to expand. Our teams manage both Seller Central and Vendor Central, so 1P brands get advertising and purchase-order operations from the same people.
You keep ownership of the advertising account throughout, and every report comes with the reasons behind each change. If you want to see how that plays out, our case studies and the Amazon advertising management page go into the detail; our New York team handles East Coast brands directly.
Find out where your US account is leaking
Share read-only access or a report export and we will come back with your break-even ACoS, your real maximum cost per click, the negatives you are missing and the three changes we would make first.
Conclusion
Choosing between amazon advertising agencies gets much easier once you stop asking "who is the best" and start asking "who is best at my job". Name the situation you are in. Verify the signals yourself instead of trusting a badge image. Pick the fee model whose incentive you can live with. Put ownership, people and reporting in writing. Then run a two-week trial and decide on evidence.
The eleven agencies above are all capable of scaling a US brand on Amazon in 2026. The right one for you is the one whose answers to the twelve questions you would be happy to show your finance team. If you would like ours in writing, ask us.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best Amazon advertising agency in the USA?
It depends on the job you need done. Among amazon advertising agencies in the USA, this guide ranks GrowithAmazon first for brands that want advertising, listings and account management run by one team across Seller and Vendor Central, with Tinuiti for enterprise multi-retailer media, Canopy Management for cross-platform scale, Incrementum Digital for ASIN-level profit reporting, and the others for the specific situations described above.
What is the difference between an Amazon PPC agency and a full-service Amazon agency?
An Amazon PPC or advertising agency manages Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display and often DSP and Amazon Marketing Cloud. A full-service agency adds listings, catalogue, A+ Content, Brand Store, account health and Vendor Central operations. Several agencies on this list do both; decide which you need before you compare.
What does Amazon Ads Verified or Advanced Partner mean?
They are tiers in the Amazon Ads Partner Network based on an agency's Amazon Ads activity, team certifications and engagement with Amazon. A badge shows access and training, not client results. "Amazon Ads Certified" refers to individuals who have passed learning-console certifications. Check any claim in Amazon's public partner directory.
How do Amazon advertising agencies charge?
Three models are common: a percentage of monthly ad spend, a flat monthly retainer, or a hybrid of a base fee plus a performance component. Each creates a different incentive, so ask how the model is defined, audited and reviewed, and compare agencies on the same model before you compare amounts.
How long before an agency should show results?
Wasted-spend cuts and structure fixes usually show within the first 30 days. Stable efficiency gains take four to eight weeks of data. Organic rank and TACoS improvements driven by advertising typically take a quarter. Ask for a 30-day change log and a 90-day plan, and judge on 30-day windows rather than single weeks.
